SPRING UPDATE
Spring provides some interesting news from the offices of Technology Design Resources (TDR). Along with the changing temperature’s we are seeing some changes in our service requests. TDR is experiencing an upswing in client direct projects. Projects normally worked through architectural firms are being negotiated with us directly. TDR is being asked to provide more Project Management and oversight in order to insure quality, ease of use, and complete working designs. TDR is also pleased to announce some exciting new clients; these clients are presenting some exciting and challenging opportunities. TDR is helping the Washington Ballet with technology in the new THE ARC (Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus) in Anacostia. This modern unique facility will support two Washington Ballet studios, dressing rooms, offices, and a 350-seat theater auditorium. The facility is due to open in the winter of 2005. We are very excited and happy to be working with our new friends at Melville Thomas Architects. TDR has been awarded a contract to provide voice/ data and audiovisual consulting services on the Johns Hopkins University Campus for six classroom renovations. TDR is also pleased to announce the addition of two projects with the University of Maryland College Park. We have been retained to Project Manage the Engineering School project, and also design the new UCASL building project. Look for some very exciting news coming soon!
