University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy

TDR and the architectural design team of HDR architects delivered to the university a new and inovative School of Pharmacy building featuring advanced audiovisual, data and voice technology. Classrooms were desiged to view spreadsheet text and deliver high speed data connections throughout the facility. Classroom were designed to limit the amount of noise and disturbance from technology equipment. The large data infrastructure was designed with Wi-Fi in mind yet CAT 6 cabling was delivered to all nodes on the network. We designed this space with the future in mind stated Donald M. Bailey the infrastucture will support 20 to 30% growth over the next five years.
