TDR is helping the University of Maryland project manage and design the renovation of 16 classrooms with updated technology solutions.

The classrooms both tiered and flat are being outfitted with new projection devices,screens, teaching stations,control systems, networks, and telephony.

The project is on a very tight timeline with most renovation work slated for over the holiday break. The project requires extensive coordination between facilities, telecommunications dept. and the audiovisual dept. due to the extensive work in developing pathways between the new building and older building areas.  

Everything will transverse through pathways via fiber optic cable back to the main control room area. The main control area will monitor all classroom equipment and provides help desk fuctions for facality members in real time.
